About Us
Buck O' Five began in 2023 when a few work colleagues decided to form a band to perform upbeat, recognizable, rock-n-roll that skews a little newer than most of what you see in bars in Central Maryland. Today, Buck O' Five is rising as one of the most exciting bands to hear in the area. The members of Buck O' Five are:
Brian plays bass for Buck O' Five, sings some background, and tells tales of his formidable years from long ago. Brian previously played bass for Colony 7, Adam Fall, and Triple Lundy.
Ian Howard is the "Beast from the Middle East" and Buck O' Five's lead guitarist. A chameleon who masters any guitar style that the guys throw at him, Ian was recently voted as MVGP, Most Valuable Guitar Player.
Josh plays rhythm guitar and is the lead singer for Buck O' Five. In 2024, he was also appointed Buck O' Five's "Chief of Stage Banter."
Hide yo wives, hide yo kids because it's Mike Schachel on drums. Mike's a self taught drummer of seven years who loves to make the place sing and dance. Mike's inspirations are Tommy Lee, Stewart Copeland, and Joey Jordison
Phil Corrigan is on Keys, playing with an emphasis on energy, rhythm, atmosphere, and sound. Phil takes his inspiration from anything that gets you on the dancefloor, crafting grooves that move your body and soul.
